Absolut im Kontrast zu der hochauflösenden digitalen Fotografie seiner Kampagnen hat er sich seit Beginn seiner fotografischen Laufbahn auch immer intensiv mit analogen schwarz-weiß Techniken beschäftigt, die er zur Umsetzung seiner freien Bildserien nutzt.
